Who controls your data
Magnetly operates the website at magnetly.ai and is the controller for personal data collected through the landing page, audit form, waitlist form, and related analytics. For privacy requests, contact privacy@magnetly.ai.
Data we collect
When you submit a form, we collect the email address you provide and marketing attribution fields that may be present in the page URL or form submission, including utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, ref, gclid, and fbclid.
When you request a free audit, we also collect the product URL you provide and the generated audit result so we can deliver the service and avoid re-running the same audit unnecessarily.
For site measurement and abuse prevention, we may process request metadata such as timestamp, user agent, referrer, hashed IP address, hashed user agent, session/event identifiers, and rate-limit records.
Why we use it
- To deliver the free marketing audit, waitlist confirmation, and product updates you requested.
- To understand which campaigns and channels send useful traffic, using UTM and referral data.
- To protect the public forms from spam, abuse, duplicate submissions, and excessive automated requests.
- To improve Magnetly's onboarding, positioning, and product experience for B2B SaaS founders.
Legal basis under GDPR
For audit and waitlist requests, we process your email and submitted details to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to provide the service you asked for. For product updates, measurement, attribution, security, and abuse prevention, we rely on legitimate interests unless consent is required by applicable law. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time.
Cookies and similar storage
Magnetly may set a first-party visitor cookie named mktg_vid to connect page views, audit requests, and waitlist signups without storing your raw IP address in analytics events. The cookie is used for attribution, funnel measurement, and fraud prevention. We do not use it to sell data or follow you across unrelated third-party sites.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers that help us host the site, store form submissions, send email, measure conversions, or protect the service, and only for those operational purposes. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, security, and integrity.
Retention
We keep waitlist and audit request records while Magnetly is operating the beta, while we have a business need to respond to you, or while needed for security, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Audit cache data may be retained to reduce duplicate processing. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent. EU/EEA and UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email privacy@magnetly.ai from the address connected to your request.
International processing
Magnetly and its service providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections with service providers.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
